Daddy's little man

Busted

Man-to-Man chat

Dear Shuler,
You are greater than any treasure we could have ever asked for. You don't realize it yet, but we are always a step behind you to catch you when you lose your footing or to keep you from eating Koozie's food or escaping out the back door or any number of disasters than follow in your wake. We get so excited with each new discovery that you make. Most days, we probably seem like the referees to you, but Mommy & Daddy will always be your biggest cheerleaders.
We love you little man!

"Standing Man"

Nope, this won't work...

But this will...

Look at me, Dad!

I did it!

Now what?

Apparently we need another round of baby proofing...

Sick Day

Shuler has a respiratory infection, so we stayed home sick today. He was a little pitiful, but we managed to make the best of it :-) He cruised from me to the chair today, so I guess we officially have a cruiser! Can't wait to see what's in store when he is back to full energy...

First Sleepover

Shuler spent a night with his Mimi & Grandad last weekend. Mommy had a hard time at first, but was very thankful for a night out. We had dinner at 1826 on the Green and I slept for about 10 hours :-) It was glorious. Apparently, Shuler had a fabulous time himself...

Aunt Haley is married!

Trouble

Need some help Dad?

Shuler's latest accomplishments:
  • Can crawl anywhere he wants to go - and never slows down
  • Can usually stand up when he has something to pull up on (tries to pull up on everything)
  • Is eating some more textured foods
  • Can hold a toy and crawl at the same time
  • Crawled onto the shelf underneath the coffee table (hate we didn't get a picture of this)
  • Plays tug-of-war with Koozie
  • Discovered Koozie's food & water bowls...

Vertical

Shuler is developing so quickly! He has mastered crawling and is everywhere! Only a few weeks after he started crawling, he decided the he'd prefer to be vertical. He tries to pull up on anything he can get his hands on. He is trying all kinds of new foods and basically goes wherever we go. He is a very social child!
A little family picture in the man cave (yes, I cropped myself out)

Aunt Katherine

These pictures are about 5 months old, but I just love them! Now that she is all married, I'm hoping Aunt Katherine doesn't mind me sharing them :-)
