The girls, the mothers, and I had a lovely luncheon for Shuler's Aunt Anna today. It is always such a joy to see all The Aunties! Love you girls!

Poor Little Sick Baby
Shuler seems to be feeling a little better today, but we discovered that his tooth is breaking through on top, so it's a trade (and not a happy one).
He slept for like 4 hours yesterday (definitely not feeling well) and I snapped this pitiful little picture...

Big Boy
Shuler is becoming a big boy - he started day care this week. He loves Mrs. Jan and even reached for her when we took him the second day. He is the only baby right now, while the other kids are 14 months - 3 years. Of course, he's totally worn out when we pick him up, but he seems to be enjoying it. Unfortunately, he has gotten a little cold at the end of the week and so he stayed home with us today. Jason's got the cold too, so it's been a pitiful day in the Wilson house.
First Day: took a 2 hour nap, came home in a different outfit (sorry, Mrs. Jan!) |

Happy Birthday Big Daddy!!
Our Big Daddy is 79 today! Our Favorite "Young American," as he would say, is definitely worth celebrating! We're sorry we can't be with you today, but we are thinking about you up here in The Hills! We Love You!

How can this be comfortable?
Shuler, like his mom, is a snuggler by nature. Unfortunately, there is nothing to snuggle with in his crib. I have a feeling he will fill this crib with bears and lovies when he is old enough, but for now...This morning, Shuler tossed and turned for a while and then finally settled back down. I went in to check on him and found him like this...

What am I up to?
Oh, Shuler is quite the handful these days! He has basically stopped napping - when he does, it is short or just the case of him finally passing out. Jason & I are barely able to stay awake, but apparently this child needs no rest and is a little ball of energy. Despite the exhaustion, we are thrilled by his every move and just madly in love with his wonderful personality. He loves to smile and giggle and makes little "rasberry" sounds by putting his lips together and blowing. It's too funny. He rolls around alot and can sit up by himself for about 30 seconds, but can sit for a little while with the Boppy behind him. He still loves his Jumperoo and basically anything he can chew on. He absolutely loves cereal and never misses a meal! He is now 27 inches long and about 17 pounds! He also loves Disney movies, especially when they sing. We think it's so funny how he will stare at the TV for a minute or two, something I didn't think he would do for a few years. He also has started bouncing up and down like he's dancing when he hears the fun songs. We can't wait to see what he is going to do next!
