I started teaching three weeks ago and things have been pretty busy around here. Shuler is into everything these days. I left him in his highchair for 5 seconds at Mom's as I walked around the island to get his bottle, and when I returned all of the placemats and napkins from the bar were on the floor. He will grab anything within reach. We have learned to keep our drinks far away from him! He has started pushing up on all fours, but hasn't crawled yet. He has mastered a military crawl if he wants something badly enough. He has one little tooth that has come through on the bottom.He is eating fruits and veggies now and loving them! Baby food is pretty limited, so we occasionally throw something we are having into the blender and he gobbles that up too. He gets pretty ill with us when we are eating something and tries to grab it. This kid never misses a meal and it shows! At his 6 month check up, Shuler weighed in at 19.5 oz and is almost 27 inches long. He has mastered sitting up and holding toys in both hands, which means he has learned to bang them together :-) Right now he's going through a little "stranger danger" phase and panics if he can't see us. He basically sleeps through the night and Mrs. Jan reports that he is napping well at daycare. We are just so proud of our little man!
